ClickFunnels Has An Affiliate Program and You’re Already Approved

Becoming an affiliate with ClickFunnels is easy. But before you go down this route, you may be wondering about how affiliate marketing works, and more specifically, how the ClickFunnels affiliate program works.

Let’s take a quick look at that.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Put in simple terms, affiliate marketing is an arrangement where an online business will pay a commission to another website from the traffic or sales they get from that site’s referrals.

In other words, if you become part of the ClickFunnels affiliate program, you work in partnership with ClickFunnels. We help build your website, and you can choose to refer traffic back to ClickFunnels.

For each sale of ClickFunnels or related products that an affiliate refers, they make up to 40% commissions.

It’s the ultimate win-win situation. All affiliates get something from the arrangement, as does the company running the affiliate program, making it a mutually beneficial relationship.

Many bloggers choose to go in this direction, sometimes going so far as to write whole blog posts dedicated to the affiliate marketing programs they’re a part of. Others are more subtle in their approach.

It all comes down to promoting a product or service that you believe in. If you feel that strongly about it, why not make some money off of it as well?

About five or six people a week, at least, will tell me “I love ClickFunnels!  It’s amazing!” A lot of the time they will ask me..

“How do I become an affiliate?”

This always makes me laugh because the second you create your ClickFunnels account, you become a ClickFunnels affiliate.

Over on the upper right, you’re going to find all the stats of your pages and all of those sorts of things.

If you invested in Funnel Hacks, a link to this training can also be found at the right-hand side of your dashboard.

It’s also on the right side that you’ll find a link to the help desk, and underneath this, you’ll find a link that says “Calling Affiliates!”  If you are an affiliate, you already have an affiliate account.

If you click the top link under this statement, you’ll be logged into your affiliate account.  This will lead you to the page below, where you will find all of your stats and other account information.

Within your account, you’ll also find different things related to ClickFunnels that you can promote, such as different pages that we’ve set up.

So, if you’re already an affiliate, everything you need is there already.  In previous trainings, I have showed you how there is a little badge that you turn on and off within your pages that you can use to promote ClickFunnels through your own funnels if you like.

This happens by default because people that like your pages will click to see how they are built, if you have this feature turned on that is.  You will want to log into your affiliate account, however, and check what you’ve ‘sold’ from time to time.

What you want to do is log into your affiliate account, where you will find your ‘affiliate ID’.  You can see this being highlighted in the screenshot above.

You’ll want to copy this, go back into your ClickFunnels account, and paste it into your account settings under ‘Backpack Affiliate’.  Make sure that you scroll down the page and click on ‘Update My Account’ to save this change when you’re done.  That’s a double confirmation that all of your affiliate links are being tracked through your account and you’ll be paid commissions on those.

That is how you can be an affiliate.

5 Benefits of Affiliate Marketing

1. You can make money

One of the biggest advantages to being an affiliate is the most obvious one: you get to make money! Who doesn’t want a little extra cash for doing nothing more than promoting something you already know works well?

2. It’s cost effective

As attractive as that benefit is, there’s more to being an affiliate than earning a little extra money. Being an affiliate marketer is very cost-effective. You don’t have to put much money in an affiliate program in order to gain a lot.

3. There are many ways to promote as an affiliate

There are many ways to promote affiliate marketing companies. As explained above with ClickFunnels, all you have to do is turn on the badge promoting the site. Or you may mention in a piece of content how useful ClickFunnels has been in generating more sales for your business. Simple things like that are all that it takes to see results as an affiliate.

4. There’s no need for marketing expertise

You can do all this without having to be an expert in marketing. As you can probably see from the examples, getting started in affiliate marketing is pretty easy.

That entry point can open up many possibilities, but don’t feel like you need to settle for the initial results. With more experience at promoting a company, you’ll eventually find what works the best and leads to more referrals. Affiliate marketing is all about learning and adapting for the best results.

5. The amount of effort is flexible

Being an affiliate also provides greater flexibility. Since the commission you earn is supplemental income, you don’t always have to rely on it. So if you need to take some time off, you can without worrying about hurting your bottom line. Or you can double down and promote affiliate marketing websites even more. Affiliate marketing gives you more freedom, so what you choose to do with it is all up to you.

Best of all, you can still earn money even if you aren’t actively involved in affiliate marketing. A good piece of content can still refer many visitors to the site you’re partnering with. Think of it as the gift that keeps on giving.
